TopOdds Privacy Policy

• Account details you provide at sign-up (name, email, password) via our authentication provider.
• Profile content such as reviews, ratings and preferences you submit.
• Usage data including pages viewed, matches and bookmakers clicked, device type, browser and approximate location derived from IP.
• Cookies and similar technologies — see the Cookies section below.

We do not request or store bank, card or wallet details. Wagers are placed directly with bookmakers on their own sites.

• Operate, secure and improve the TopOdds platform.
• Personalise the sports, tournaments and bookmakers shown to you.
• Manage your account, including authentication and password recovery.
• Measure performance, diagnose errors and prevent abuse of our API.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from regulators or law enforcement.

We share limited personal information with trusted operators who help us run the service, under contractual protections:

• Supabase — hosting of account data, reviews and authentication.
• SportRadar — sports data provider for fixtures, results and odds.
• Analytics and tag providers — to measure usage and improve the product.
• Affiliate bookmakers — when you click an outbound link, the destination bookmaker may receive a referral identifier (no personal account data is transferred).

We do not sell your personal information.

We use TLS in transit, hashed passwords, role-based access to production data, rate-limited internal APIs and request signing between our site and our data sources. No system is perfectly secure — if you suspect your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

We retain account information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations. Aggregated and anonymised analytics may be kept indefinitely as it no longer identifies you.

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of information that is inaccurate.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention.
• Object to processing or withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).

Some of our service providers (e.g. hosting, analytics) operate servers outside South Africa. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards and POPIA-compliant transfer mechanisms.

TopOdds is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will remove the account.

TopOdds links to bookmaker websites and other third parties. Once you leave our site, their own privacy policies and terms apply. We are not responsible for the content or practices of external sites.
